The Nebraska State Fair is all about family focused fun, and it’s true again this year with Wade Shows on the midway—It’s like an amusement park on wheels. Throughout the grounds, there’s free entertainment, stage shows and strolling entertainment. It is guaranteed good fun.
“We have worked very hard this year to book new entertainment along with some that are back by popular demand,” Chelsey Jungck, Director of Entertainment and Events said, “No matter where you are on the fairgrounds, there’s something fun and exciting to watch around every corner”
Moto Maniacs is both stimulating and exhilarating where you watch, first hand, crazy motorcycle stunts and audacious acrobats collide. The Sinbad High Dive Show features pirate divers splashing into the water from incredible heights.
Jungck said, “We have crowd favorite Hedrick’s Racing Pigs every year, but this year guess what? Racing Ducks! It’s the Great American Duck Races where the stars of the show race across the water track to the finish line. Another must see is Panfilov’s Performing Pets where you witness ordinary, everyday animals perform incredible tricks to the delight of the audience.”
Matt’s Family Jam, the crowd pleaser from 2016 is back this year by popular demand with a brand new show for 2017. Also back is Nebraska’s own Nowear BMX Freestyle Stunt Show, and from a few years back, the Conjurer Fortune Machine. Is he man or machine—you be the judge.
“From a one man bands to Rollo, the 10 foot tall clown—A butterfly encounter to a vehicle created entirely of reclaimed and recycled parts—there’s education and entertainment at the 2017 Nebraska State Fair,” Jungck said.
The Nebraska State Fair runs from August 25 through September 4 in Grand Island.
