Chelsey Jungck, the fair’s events and entertainment director says, “With one of the most instantly recognizable voices in the history of country music, John Anderson’s fans know that he has proven himself to be 100 proof traditional country. His roots are deep and we’re very excited to have him at the Nebraska State Fair.”

John Anderson, took the country by storm in the early 80s with his now country classic, “Swingin”. He set the standard for traditional country music winning a host of awards and selling the most records in Warner Brother’s Records history. Since then he has given us “Seminole Wind”, “Straight Tequila Night,” and “Money in the Bank” to name a few. His new album, “Goldmine” proves there’s still a lot of gold in John Anderson.

Jungck said, “Anderson has been touring for over four decades. He has a connection with his fans that he describes as the most loyal of any country artist. He has a deep connection for the well-traveled road he’s been on and looks forward to always plowing new ground in country music.”
