GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – You won’t need a secret password to get into Stuhr Museum’s “Pub Night” event, filled with games of chance, drinks that have stood the test of time, delicious food and the greatest atmosphere in the area. The event runs from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 30th.
The Grand Island Sertoma Club will be dealing the cards and spinning the wheels during the event, which will also include a cash bar with popular drinks from the past, heavy appetizers for the evening and more. Stuhr will also bring out some historic games of chance for you to try. Games include:
-Faro -Blackjack (period rules)
-Color Wheel -1890′s Rules Poker
In addition, live music will be provided by the one and only Paul Siebert, a friend of the museum and fan favorite from the Nebraska State Fair. Food and drinks will be provided by Whitey’s of Grand Island. This is a great way to kick off the year and do something different at Stuhr Museum!
