GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – After two years off grounds, the Grand Island Art and Sketch Club show returns to the Stuhr Building on Friday, September 11 and runs through November 8.
The exhibit, which showcases the best work of the Grand Island Art Club and the Grand Island Sketch Club, is always a colorful mix of media, inspirations and styles. This year is no different with dozens of pieces on display that tackle a variety of subjects and highlight the talent among the artistic community in this part of the state. This is the first show for the groups since the Stuhr Building renovation was completed and you will want to see the Art & Sketch Clubs in the new space.
Each piece in this exhibit is for sale and a reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 18. This event is free and open to the public. For more information on this show, contact the museum at (308) 385-5316.
