GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – The best work of two local organizations will be highlighted during the annual “Grand Island Art & Sketch Club Show” Sept. 19 – Oct. 17 at Bartenbach’s Gallery in downtown Grand Island.
The Grand Island Art and Sketch Club Show is in its 47th year, making it Stuhr’s longest running art exhibit. This eclectic collection features work from shaded and intricate pencil drawings to landscape and wildlife paintings to abstracts and collage and more. The artists take inspiration from different places and work in a wide variety of different media, making this a unique, one-of-a-kind show each year it’s presented.
Every piece on display will also be for sale over the course of the show.
This exhibit is for viewing from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at Bartenbach’s Gallery, 209 North Locust Street in Grand Island. There is no charge to view the show. For more information, contact the museum at (308) 385-5316 or log onto www.stuhrmuseum.org
