GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – As part of the 26th Annual Wings Over the Platte Art Exhibit and Sale, the curators, artists and others who make the exhibit possible are taking their show to several locations around the area as part of the "Wings Speaker Series." The series begins February 17th and runs through late March.
During the "Wings Speaker Series," the winning pieces from the show are reproduced and brought to the venues, creating a small traveling exhibit. During these presentations, curators from Stuhr will speak about the show and Jeff Oates with the Crane Trust Visitors Center will speak on the natural splendor that inspires "Wings Over the Platte" every year.
The "Wings Speaker Series" includes the following venues:
