    A lot of the days culminate in great concerts held in the Heartland Events Center at the heart of the fairgrounds.

Come and celebrate Nebraska

The Nebraska State Fair moved into its brand new facilities at Fonner Park in 2010. This annual event features a great variety of concerts, a fantastic midway and agricultural competitions in some of the most modern US facilities.

Entertainment is spread across the grounds and includes exotic animals, stunts and musicians. A variety of concerts are scheduled in the Heartland Events Center and include country, classic country, classic rock and Christian performers.

Agriculture is still the backbone of the Nebraska State Fair.

Agriculture is still the backbone of the Nebraska State Fair. The Sheep Barn includes a birthing pavilion. The Cattle Barn includes a milking parlor. The Ag Arena hosts one of the largest draft horse events in the United States. The high school rodeo moved to the fair in 2013 and takes place at the Thompson Arena.

The Sky Tram was added in 2012, and a brand new building housing the fair offices, a permanent Nebraska Game and Parks display with shooting ranges, and the Raising Nebraska agriculture exhibit debuted at the 2014 fair. New in 2015 are a large outdoor concer with an A-list performer and a nearly one acre garden as part of the Raising Nebraska exhibit.
