"Architexture: A SAQA Exhibit" Showing in the Stuhr Building

Stuhr Museum is proud to welcome the Studio Art Quilt Associate's traveling exhibit "Architexture" to the Stuhr Building August 15 - September 29.
The exhibit features dozens of quilts which explore the theme of architecture, from the tallest buildings created by society to the smallest cells created by nature. Drawing on a variety of inspiration, the 15 artists represented in this show utilize a variety of styles, techniques and color schemes to create a one-of-a-kind show for quilters and nonquilters alike.
The "Architexture" exhibit has traveled the state of Nebraska, with stops at the Norfolk Arts Center, Hastings Museum, Jewish Community Center in Omaha, Nebraska History Museum and others.
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for children through September 5 and $6 for adults and $4 for children September 6 - 29. Stuhr Museum and Hastings Museum members are admitted free. For more information, contact the museum at (308) 385-5316.
