Car Show This Sunday at Stuhr Museum

The Nebraska Rod and Custom Association and Stuhr Museum are proud to offer an afternoon of classic cars in a one of a kind setting during the “Afternoon in Railroad Town” car show from Noon - 4 p.m. Sunday, August 7.
The “Afternoon in Railroad Town” car show will feature dozens of special interest and classic cars in a variety of styles with the show proper running from Noon – 4 p.m. and an awards ceremony at 3:30 at the Band Stand in Railroad Town. Visitors are encouraged to spend the day viewing the cars and chatting with the owners and taking in all the historic activity and fun that a day in Railroad Town has to offer.

The day will also include:

●Special activities in Stuhr’s 1890s Railroad Town
●Food for sale at the Silver Dollar including specialty items
●Music by Tim Mohanna from 1-3 p.m. at the Railroad Town Bandstand
●The Farm Machinery Building, featuring hundreds of pieces, will be open
●Stuhr will be presenting a number of awards for their favorite cars at 3:30 p.m. at the Band Stand. Many of the awards have been made by artisans in Railroad Town including the Blacksmith, Tinsmith, Railroad Town Mayor and more.

Those who come for the cars are welcome to explore the museum including our summer exhibit "Tracks Through Hall County" in the Stuhr Building, Railroad Town, the Fonner Rotunda and much more.
