Good Living Tour announces band lineups

OMAHA, NE — Hear Nebraska is excited to announce the musical lineups for the 2016 Good Living Tour, presented by Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Three sonically diverse, original Nebraska bands/groups, along with one DJ, are scheduled to perform at the free, all-ages concerts in each of the following 12 Greater Nebraska communities: Ord, Kearney, Grand Island, Red Cloud, Hastings, Norfolk, Lyons, O’Neill, Grant, Sidney, Imperial, McCook.

International-touring rock band The Good Life headlines the first three concerts.

“As a lover of all things Nebraska, I'm proud to have The Good Life included in this year's Good Living Tour,” said The Good Life frontman Tim Kasher. “Hear Nebraska has charmed us with the reminder that Nebraska is far greater than just Omaha and Lincoln; I'm ecstatic to cruise along those highways less taken to revisit towns and cities I haven't been to in awhile.”

Other headliners include: Omaha indie-rock band See Through Dresses; Lincoln honky tonk group Lloyd McCarter & The Honky Tonk Revival; Lincoln soul group Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal; Omaha funk band Satchel Grande; O’Neill/Nashville pop artist Rachel Price; Omaha rock band (and recent Dwight Yoakam tour support) Matt Whipkey; and Omaha funk band Sam Ayer and the Love Affair.
