Stuhr Museum offers Holiday Preview

GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – Stuhr Museum’s holiday season kicks off with the “Holiday Preview” on Sunday, November 29 from Noon – 4 p.m.

During this laid back afternoon, the public is invited to take part in a number of holiday activities, including:

●A sneak preview of the “Fantasy of Trees” exhibit featuring over 60 beautifully decorated Christmas trees by area organizations and businesses in the newly renovated Stuhr Building.

●A Christmas card making workshop for children where they will make a card out of fiber and other decorative materials.

●Special shopping in the Prairie Treasures Gift Shop which is decked out for the holiday season

●Refreshments in the Stuhr Building

●Your first chance to donate to the “Tri City Food Fight” where Stuhr Museum is competing against the Hastings Museum and Archway Monument to see who can collect the most food for area food pantries.

The “Holiday Preview” is a lead up to our “Christmas Past & Present” events on December 4, 5, 11, 12 & 13, which is one of our biggest and most celebrated events of the year.
