Stuhr Museum is proud to have been selected the “Best Preserved Pioneer Town” by True West Magazine.
The award, which is voted on by the readers of the popular publication, recognized Stuhr’s 1890’s Railroad Town, which features historic homes and businesses and is staffed by interpreters from May 1 – Labor Day every year and during special events. The five city blocks of town also includes a farmstead, Mercantile, Livery stable and more.
“This award is a testament to your hard work and tenacity,” Sheri Riley, a representative with True West, wrote. “It is recognized by people who love the West as much as you do.”
This is the second award the museum has won from True West Magazine. Stuhr sincerely thanks to readers for the recognition. For more information, contact the museum at (308) 385-5316.
