GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – From horse shoes to board games popular in the 1890′s, Stuhr Museum second “Family Night” of the summer has the perfect game for everyone to play and the perfect place in which to play it.
During “Family Night: Games on the Prairie”, children and adults will find dozens of different diversions from the past, all simple enough to learn in a few minutes but fun enough to play all evening long. It’s a great chance to see what children form over 100 years ago did with their rare free time and how many of these games are just as enjoyable today as they were back then. The event runs from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 19th.
