Summer School Registration Open to the Public
Posted on 04/07/2014
GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – Stuhr Museum’s Summer School program draws hundreds of children every summer to participate in one-of-a-kind living history experiences each year. The schedule for Summer School 2014 is now online at www.stuhrmuseum.org, and registration is open to the general public.
Summer School classes range from preschool through middle school and feature dozens of different summer adventures. Be it something historical like Nebraska Outlaws class or Adventures Along the Platte, something artistic like “All About Me Scrapbooking” or Cyanotype Sun Printing or one of our unique and fun classes like Horse 1 or The Art of Pie Baking, Summer School has a class and a time to fit children’s busy summer schedules.
Parents may sign their children up until the week of the class, but it is highly recommended that they sign up soon as many of the popular classes will fill up quickly. Our Education Department is eager to help, so if a class you want is full, we are happy to help you find a similar class, or another one that fits your schedule. You can find a full list of classes at www.stuhrmuseum.org.
Registration can take place in person at Stuhr Museum, by phone (308) 385-5316 ext. 204 or by sending the registration form by fax (308) 385-5142, or emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration is not complete until payment has been processed. Please mark your calendar with date, time and class information as no confirmation letters will be sent. Each course is designed for the skill level of a particular age group, we strictly enforce all age requirements. Refunds will result in an administrative charge of 10% – no refunds will be made unless the Education Department is notified 7 days prior to the first day of class.
