  • The Sandhills Journey Scenic Byway passes through a one-of-a-kind ecosystem called the Sandhills, 20,000 square miles of sand dunes stabilized by prairie grasses.

  • The Loup Rivers Byway is a beautiful stretch of road on the eastern edge of the Sandhills. Along this byway you'll find history, recreation, a brewery, and a coffee roaster.



NE Cheer and Dance Competition

Friday, February 17, 2017 - Saturday, February 18, 2017
Location: Heartland Events Center
Description: The Nebraska Cheer & Dance Championships return to the Heartland Events Center for the 10th year. 200+ performances and over 1600 participants competing in Cheer & Dance.
Friday competitions include Classes A & B. Saturday competitions include Classes C1, C2, and D

Four Dance Divisions including high kick, pom, hip hop & jazz. Three Cheer Divisions that include tumbling, non-tumbling and sideline. Performances alternate between Cheer and Dance in 3-minute intervals for all classes. Great event for all age groups!
