Perhaps the world's best known male vocal ensemble, The King's Singers were founded at Kings College, Cambridge, England in 1968, and since then have developed an astonishingly diverse repertoire. They have commissioned over 200 works from outstanding contemporary composers, and have also compiled a library of the finest music from around the world - classical and popular, sacred and secular from the 1500s through the 2000s, taking their audiences on virtual tours through history. They have a unique ability to communicate with their audiences - young and old, in all four corners of the globe. This is what has earned these six Englishmen their reputation as the world's most sought-after a cappella ensemble.
