Paul Nielsen, Marketing Manager
Paul has roots in the Grand Island area dating back to the 1860s. He loves bicycling, watching thunderstorms float across the prairie and is passionate about the arts — both as an artist himself and as a catalyst for others.
Having studied some architecture and urban planning in college, he's also passionate about creating spaces and defining places and is excited to help do so in the context of Grand Island here at the convention & visitors bureau
He joined the visitor bureau staff in 2011.
Paul's favorite obscure Grand Island fact: Before his great-great-great? grandfather's house was incorporated into Stuhr Museum's new farmstead, it was used to store toilets. Toilets filled the living room wall-to-wall.
