GRAND ISLAND, NE, April 29, 2016—Downtown Grand Island is a destination for great food and unique shops, and now live music joins the mix, with an exciting new summer concert series, that builds on the buzz in the Railside District.
Owners of the Necropolis Group (Bonzai Wave Pizza Co., Sin City Grill, the Glass Bar, and J. Alfred Prufrocks) and The Chocolate Bar are partnering with HearNebraska for a 10 week concert series, aimed at creating a lifestyle that young and mature audiences crave.
The Necropolis Group and The Chocolate Bar are assisting the newly dubbed Railside to bring a 10-week, Friday night concert series to the Railside District Plaza June 24 - August 26. The first concert will coincide with the Railside Branding Launch, which is when the downtown association will unveil the new and exciting direction for downtown Grand Island. You’re invited to a press conference Wednesday, May 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Railside District Plaza, where you can sample the food and music that will be featured this summer, and learn more details of the concert series.
The Friday night concerts will be create fun-filled friends and family evenings, offering a variety of unique street food, great music, and a beer garden featuring Nebraska brews. By partnering with HearNebraska, all the music will come from Nebraska artists – ranging from Field Club to Briner.
Along with modern lofts opening and a downtown branding launch, the HearGI concert series is just the start of diverse events and added celebrations that downtown Grand Island will provide.
